How To Play Minden Cricket - 01 - The Over

How To

Welcome to the first in a series of "How To Play Minden Cricket". This will be a series of How To Sheets that cover various aspects of the board game and the actual game of cricket itself.

The first cab off the rank is the Over. Go to the bottom of this post to download it.

The Over is of course at the heart of any cricket match. These days it consists of a bowler bowling six balls (more if no balls and wides come into play) but in the past (and in some of our Classic Series sets) it was eight balls.

Minden Cricket replicates an Over of a Test or One Day match each game turn. This How to Sheet shows you the flow of the Over in game turns and provides an overview as to how Minden Cricket works.

The heart of the design of Minden Cricket is flexibility. Players can start with the Basic Game and move toward the Advanced Game adding or ignoring additional rules to fit playing style and the desired amount of realism.

We hope this first How To helps you along the journey to learning the game.
