Greetings Cricket Fans! The gears of the Minden Cricket factory are starting to turn as we return from a short break. First cabs off the rank will be the Annual Advanced Card set and the Sheffield Shield set for the 2025/26 season. We are still debating here at Minden Central whether or not to do a Series Set based on the 25/26 Ashes series. Time will tell.
And now, some news:
Trump Tariff - first up we have been forced to add an additional £4 to the postage for physical versions of the game that ship to the US. This is to cover the current 10% tariff being charged by the US Government on all physical goods from the UK. Apologies to our American friends, but we are a very small company and cannot afford to absorb these costs. The good news is that PDFs are still tariff free and a more inexpensive way of enjoying all the Minden Cricket goodness.
T20 - Another year another T20 development deadline missed - what can we say? Like the current England Men's Team's Management, it's, er, not our fault. Well it kind of is. I've been distracted over the winter by many other projects (mostly non-cricket related), but as this is the start of our development period ... who knows? No more promises, kids, that's all I can say.
Annual Updates - for the past few years we have been offering the current Annual update for free to previous purchasers of the Minden Cricket game. We will now be charging a small fee for this. You will of course still get the new annual update if you purchase the PDF or physical version of the Core Game.
Okay, well, we're off to dust the office, crank up the heating (it's actually still quite cold in London), and get down to work.
