1990 - England vs. West Indies
A classic series that contains the debut of two stars of the game, Nassar Hussain and Alec Stewart. Add to that pair the captain no-one wanted, a team that decided there was no point having a spinner, a dominant Devon Malcolm and, of course, the dominant Windies.
Originally meant to be a 5 Test Series, bad weather put paid to the 2nd Test and played havoc with a couple of others which led to some world class poor behaviour by both teams.
Viv Richards was in firey form and underdog England had one of their greatest series after a no-win streak of 29 Tests dating back to the early 70s against one of the great West Indies teams.
This is one of the Minden Cricket’s Classic Series packs.
